Bridge over River Kwai and the Death Railway

Visit the infamous bridge and the railway where 9,000 allied soldiers lost their lives. You can also go to the cemetery where many of them are buried.

As depicted in the movie and a part of the "Death Railway", the historical black iron bridge was the target of allied bombing during 1945



World War ll Museum

Temple of a Million Bottles

Wat Pa Maha Chedi Kaew, also known as Wat Lan Kuad which means the Temple of a Million Bottles, located in Sisaket province (Northeast of Thailand).

The premises of the temple and the structure inside, including ordination hall, pavilion, belfry, parsonage and even the toilet was built from the million of colorful bottle in various sizes which donated by the local people.

Not only the bottle, the bottle caps are also use as a mosaic which shown the history of the Buddha.

This unique makes this temple is one in the world and also the best epitome of recycle.
